How deletion works
Sign in as a parent, then open Parents → Parent account settings → Delete KodingKids account. Save any projects you need, review the scope, check the confirmation, type DELETE KODINGKIDS and re-verify your password, Google or Apple sign-in. This feature is available only after the deletion service is enabled. If unavailable, the app explains that no deletion has taken place; contact hello@kodingkids.id for help.
Deletion scope and status
An accepted request stops KodingKids access and saving. Completed means child profiles, progress, avatars, virtual coins, projects, drafts, recordings within projects and KodingKids email preferences have been erased from active storage. Interruptions can leave the request pending; use Check deletion status. Do not treat a timeout as completion or resubmit before checking status. Deleted data cannot be restored or reopened by an administrator.
Apple permission
For accounts linked to Apple, learning-data erasure and Apple permission removal are checked separately. You can start a request on the web. Status remains pending if Apple has not confirmed permission removal; finish Apple verification in the KodingKids iPhone or iPad app, or contact hello@kodingkids.id if that device is unavailable. Your shared Dihaw sign-in identity is not deleted.
What remains
Deletion applies only to KodingKids. The shared Dihaw/Firebase sign-in identity, other Dihaw product accounts, a minimal deletion receipt and restricted security/email-delivery audits remain. This does not delete your Google or Apple account. Exported files, received emails and copies held by external services cannot be recalled.
Device copies
After acceptance, the app clears this account’s copy on the current device and reports any failure. Guest and other account data remain. Other devices need a connection and an app version supporting deletion to clear their copies. Remove copies on offline devices or older apps through their storage settings, and delete unwanted exported files.
